Disclaimer
Important information about website content, online counselling, confidentiality and immediate support.
Last updated · 11 September 2026Purpose of This Website
MindScribe’s public psychology and well-being content is educational. It cannot assess your individual circumstances and is not a substitute for personalised psychological assessment, diagnosis, medical advice, psychiatric care or treatment from an appropriately qualified professional.
Professional Relationship
Visiting the website, reading content or contacting MindScribe through WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram does not by itself establish a counsellor–client relationship. That relationship begins only after an appointment is confirmed and the relevant informed-consent and service process is completed.
Public or general messaging channels are suitable for enquiries and scheduling, but should not be treated as counselling sessions or emergency-response channels. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive health information through social media.
Scope & Suitability
Online counselling may support reflection on emotional, personal, relationship, stress and adjustment-related concerns, but it may not be appropriate for every person or situation. MindScribe may recommend in-person care, medical assessment, specialist support or another service when needs fall outside the available scope or require a different level of care.
No particular result can be guaranteed. Progress varies according to individual circumstances, goals, participation and other factors beyond a practitioner’s control.
Not an Emergency Service
MindScribe is appointment-based and does not provide immediate crisis monitoring or emergency intervention. If you or another person is in immediate danger, at risk of serious harm, or requires urgent medical help in India, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency service.
For 24×7 tele-mental-health support in India, contact Tele-MANAS at 14416 or 1800-89-14416. If you are outside India, contact the emergency or crisis service available where you are.
Confidentiality & Its Limits
Counselling information is handled with professional care and confidentiality. Before services begin, the applicable consent process should explain how information is handled and the circumstances in which confidentiality may be limited.
Limits may include legal requirements, court or statutory directions, safeguarding concerns, or a serious risk of harm to you or another person. Where disclosure is necessary, only information reasonably required for safety or legal compliance should be shared. The counselling-specific consent information provided to you will take priority over this general summary.
Online Sessions
Online services involve privacy and technology risks that cannot be completely removed, including connection failure, device access or being overheard. Use a private space, a secure device and a reliable connection where possible. A backup contact method and plan for interruptions may be agreed before a session.
You are responsible for accurately sharing your current location and an emergency contact when this is reasonably requested for safe online practice.
